Bio of Aaron Smith
Aaron Smith – Website Architect / Project Manager.
My tasks include planning and organising the building of websites which includes, design, databases, programming, marketing, search engines rankings, social media, server configurations etc; more importantly its about choosing the right team for the project.
Like most professionals in my industry, I started off designing and programming websites for small to medium sized businesses looking to create an online brochure of their products and services. In March 2000 I was asked to leave England and join a web design company called Online Canarias S.L. based in Tenerife. One year later the company expanded and we became the biggest and best web design company on the island, if not the Canary Islands.
In 2004 I formed my own company, Tenerife Ideas S.L. but soon sold it to the shareholders. I realised i needed a break and was looking for something a little different or new.
After a few months off, Sorted Sites asked me to join his web design team. Sorted Sites were one of my competitors for many years. I was offered the job as Project Manager, which suited me. I didn’t want to design or programme, my strengths are organising and thinking outside the box.
